Dear Friends of St. James’,
The success of St. James' Episcopal School over the past forty years would not have been possible without the support of friends like you.
The Parent Support Fellowship (PSF) provides various opportunities for current parents to volunteer their time and talents to St. James’ School. We also request that members of the St. James’ community -- alumni, parents, grandparents, foundations, corporations, faculty, staff, parishioners, and other friends – support St. James’ School by giving of their treasure. This ensures that we can continue to provide a world-class education not only for our children, but also for our children’s children.
We are deeply grateful to all of you who have enriched the lives of hundreds of children by giving to St. James’. We hope that you will continue your support.
Sincerely,
L. Michael Russell and Marilyn Wells
Chairs of the Board of Trustees

To ensure a diverse student base, St. James’ Episcopal School makes every effort to keep tuition affordable. However, tuition does not cover the full cost of educating each student. The remainder is raised through fundraising campaigns and events, such as Annual Giving.
The Goal of Annual Giving
The goal of the Annual Giving 2008-2009 is to achieve 100% participation from the Board, current parents, staff, and faculty. The School also encourages gifts from alumni, grandparents, friends, foundations, and members of St. James’ Episcopal Church. We ask that each family give generously, according to their means.

Celebrating the Next 40 Years!
“We have always been impressed by the economic diversity of the students at St. James’ School. We saw the need for the School to have a dedicated financial aid endowment and gave to ensure that there will always be space at St. James’ for those who cannot afford full tuition.” – Marilyn and John Wells, Parents of Madison and Jack
The St. James' Episcopal School Endowment will provide financial support for the School in perpetuity. Revenue from the endowment will allow us to maintain economic diversity in our student body by providing additional tuition assistance, to attract and retain excellent faculty and staff by providing ongoing professional development, and to preserve our current campus by ensuring regular, preventive maintenance of our facilities. Please help us to leave a powerful legacy for our future students by making a gift to our endowment fund.
To receive a copy of our endowment brochure, email advancement@sjsla.org or call 213-233-0133 x302.
