Where I'm From - 6th Grade Poetry

Students in Ms. Gilliam's 6th grade class wrote poems titled "Where I'm From" to start the year in creative writing. Challenged to go beyond the literal answer to the question, students dove into what experiences have defined them, shaped them, and reveal their inner selves.

Editor's Note: We've omitted names from the poems and posted them in no particular order.
