Spring Event Coming Up on May 7!
Sponsorships and tickets are on sale now for the 2016 Spring Event, which will take place on Saturday, May 7. Read all about the event and how you can be involved! Watch the video to learn all about the SmartLab. And see the information below about the Silent Auction, which is open now!
The Silent Auction is ON!
Bidding has begun for the 2016 Spring Event Silent Auction. Nearly 90 items have been generously donated by the St. James’ extended community, and we’re sure there’s something on the list for you.
If you’ve already purchased your sponsorship or tickets online, you’re already registered for the auction! (If not, signup takes just a minute!) Visit the Spring Event site to view the full catalog of items available and to put in your first bids. Some things to note about the auction:
- Bidding is open now and will continue until 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
- Set it and forget it! Just like on eBay, you can set a maximum bid on any item and let the system do the bidding for you.
- If you’re out-bid, you’ll get a text message to let you know, and you can up your maximum just by responding to that text.
- You don't have to be present to win (or to bid)! Even if you can’t make it Saturday, we hope you will take a look at what’s available.
Here's a quick sampling of some of the stuff we’re really excited about. (Or, just click through and explore the full catalog.)

3rd-graders Collecting Used Baby Blankets and Towels, May 2–6
On March 4, our 3rd-graders made a visit to the Pasadena Humane Society as a part of their service learning theme: helping our animal friends. At the end of the tour of the facility, they asked the question that is the core of our service program: How can we help you? Our friends at the Humane Society said that they could use gently used baby blankets and towels for their animals. To help them out, we will be collecting blankets and towels during the coming week, May 2–6. There will be a bin by the main gate where you can drop off your donations on your way into school. Thanks for supporting our 3rd-grade service project!
