- Homeless Children Clothing Drive
This winter 200 students at 93rd St. Elementary School will be homeless and more than a shiny new present they urgently need clothes. Specifically undergarments and socks, in addition to coats and sweaters. If you have any new or gently used items your students have outgrown please send them into school between now and December 15 at the laundry hamper just inside the St. Andrews Pl. gate. Thank you so much for your generosity!
- Christmas Pageant Art
Calling all artists! Every year the Christmas Pageant Program features student artwork. If your student wants their work featured in this year's program please have them draw or create an image relevant to the Pageant and submit by December 10 to AWright@SJSLA.org
- December Scheduling Reminder
Just a reminder that as previously announced, we will extend the instructional days in December through December 15th, two days after the Christmas Pageant, in order to make up some of the time lost due to construction this past fall. Dismissal for Christmas vacation will now be at noon on December 15th.
Because we announced this at the end of the summer, and we realize some families had already made travel reservations, we will not count absences on December 14th and 15th. If you wish to start your vacation on December 13th following the pageant, you may do so; but if you wish to take advantage of the additional instructional days, you may also do that.
Please note that all classroom Christmas parties, including the annual visit from Santa Clause, will take place on Friday morning, December 15th and not prior to the pageant.
