Larchmont v. St. James’ Volleyball Recap

It was a bright Tuesday afternoon and the SJSLA Volleyball Team was warming up for their first Hollywood Wilshire League match of the season! SJSLA was hosting our first game against Larchmont Elementary's 5th-6th graders! After warm up our team was ready! Coach Jenn worked out the line up for Michaella (our captain for the match), Lauren, Katelyn, Ashlyn, Sophia, Jean, Phoebe, Erin, and alumnae Crista and Hannah.

The first game was won handily 25-19. The second game was tougher ending with a score of 16-25. The Huskies had some great rallies, honing our passing and receiving skills, working on 3 hits per side. We tied 1-1 games! We played a final tie breaker to 15 points. It was neck and neck the entire way and we had to win by 2 points! With some great serving and clear communication, SJSLA won 18-16 winning our first match 2-1! CONGRATULATIONS!

SJSLA v. CEE Volleyball Recap

SJSLA walked on to the court with 5 girls (6 is the optimum number). Lauren, Katelyn, Sophia, Michaella, and Jean. CEE had 15 kids! The SJSLA girls opted to play with 5 and not take a CEE player on the team. With consistent serving, great communication, and good positioning, SJSLA beat CEE the first 2 games, winning the match 25-18 and 25-16!! We played the third game for fun giving the SJSLA Team the rule that they had to get 3 hits before going over the net and encouraged more overhand serving. We lost the final game only 26-28! We are so proud and had so much fun watching them play!!

How to Setup Your FACTS Account for 2019-20?

If you have already submitted your 2019-20 enrollment contract, your next step is to set up your online tuition payment plan for 2019-20 with FACTS Tuition Management. FACTS partners with our school's Business Office to process all tuition payments through your family's FACTS account. Tuition is scheduled and debited automatically per the payment plan chosen on the student contract.

Please be reminded that the deadline to create a FACTS account for 2019–20 tuition payments is Friday, May 24, 2019. If you have not done so already, please create an account today!

If you already have a FACTS account connected to St. James’ School, no further steps are necessary. Please just review and update your account when charges are added in June 2019.

If you are a returning family that has a new child entering the school, please do not create a new account. For your convenience, the school will add the incoming child to your existing FACTS account.

If you have any questions about Tuition Payment Plan or setting up your FACTS Tuition Management 2019-20 account, please contact Sue Periasamy at for troubleshooting please refer to the FACTS Instructions for 2019-20.

Looking forward to working with you! Please see below to learn more about FACTS.

What is FACTS Tuition Management Portal?

FACTS is an online tuition payment portal. Our policy to accept tuition and other fees is via FACTS portal as it is automatically collected per the payment schedule chosen by the parent. The first step for a new parent after the submission of both a contract and deposit is to set up a FACTS account. This account is a one-time set up with the student information and your personal bank information. The next step is for me to add tuition to your FACTS account and schedule payments per the payment plan chosen by you in the contract. FACTS will automatically debit your account on the day payment is scheduled. From time to time we may also add other fees like a late fee or NSF fee or late child pick up fee. You will be notified by FACTS via email if a fee is added to your FACTS account. Please make sure to provide an email when you set up your FACTS account.
