St. James' Night of the Arts Concert
Wednesday, May 17, 7:00 p.m.
St. James' in the City
Now in it's 5th year, the annual Night of the Arts Concert is less than a month away. All students in grades three through six have begun to work hard on their class songs, and they are looking forward to performing them. The Choir, Band, and Handbell Choir also are eager to showcase their accomplishments for the year. Be sure to save the date, and watch for more details as the event draws nearer.
- Lionel Murray Memorial Fund
Lionel James Murray, son of Matthew Murray and Kathleen Eagan Murray and brother to Calvin, passed away in his sleep in March 2017 at the age of 25 months. His death was categorized as SUDC, or Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood. Lionel spent nearly every day of his life at a playground in the Los Angeles area, where he met friends and shared his infectious joy for life.
To honor his memory, his family has chosen to rehabilitate a playground in an underserved neighborhood of Los Angeles, so that other children will have the opportunity to learn and play in a beautiful and safe place.
If you would like to help honor his memory, you can make a tax deductible donation to the Lionel James Murray Memorial Playground through this link.
