- Larchmont Fair - Volunteers Needed

This year St. James’ will return to the Larchmont Fair, selling baked goods made by our families. Parent volunteers plan and run the bake sale, which will take place on Sunday, October 29 from 12:00-5:30. Proceeds from the bake sale support Parent Association activities (for a list of these activities, go to SJSLA.org > About Us > Parent Association).

The following volunteers are needed to make St. James’ stand out at the Larchmont Fair:

  • Volunteers at school on Friday 10/27 – intake and packaging of goods (7:30-11:00).

  • Volunteers at booth on Sunday 10/29 – set up (10:00-12:00), sales (12:00-5:30), clean up (5:30-6:30).

  • Baked good donations – please label if nuts are used (send baked goods to school during morning drop off line on Friday 10/27).

- Costume Drive

We are collecting new and used costumes for kids in foster care all over Los Angeles thru an event held in Watts the weekend before Halloween. The kids will come and "shop for free" in a store set up with all of the donated items.

What we are collecting: Costumes, accessories, masks & costume jewelry

A large clearly marked black bin will sit outside of Ms. Taylors classroom and kids can drop items off on their way into school any morning between now and Friday, October 20th

Contact Elisha Hall with any questions about this drive (elishahall78@gmail.com). More info here.
